The rate of gold consumption in Kingsmarch is obnoxious
You've managed to make the pursuit of gold, and the reward from having it, unpalatable. It needs to be tuned down by 50% or more, if it isn't currently bugged (which I suspect it is).
I've abandoned the feature completely as the friction from maintaining it is not worth any of the reward from it. Last bumped on Jun 30, 2025, 10:23:35 AM

Why would it be bugged? It's normal for high-end workers to cost a lot, especially now that it's way easier to get max level ones early with the rework. Gold also drops way more than before. If you're struggling to sustain them, maybe it's time to juice your maps better… or just accept that your current worker setup is beyond what you can handle.

i dont see the problem :/
you can keep your dust farmers up 24/7 practically for free and you can recomb at all time after that you have to make a choice keep up your farm/mines/smelt or keep your mappers up and running if your farm/miners/smelt do their job you send a ship and ggs it was never their intention for you to keep your entire kingsmarch running at the same time which is why they tuned it down. |

Skip the mappers and just send some dudes(i send about 2,x mio crops) to a tattoo harbour. Use Faustus to sell the Tattoos = passive income with reasonable gold...
If you want to run lvl 5 mappers you need to commit to juicing maps big time. If you do that you will have enough gold, otherwise just be happy with some tattoos and an occasional divine. Last edited by Strickl3r#3809 on Jun 30, 2025, 4:12:52 AM

costs are one thing - if there werent any outliers they could have been accepted
but there are outliers and they exceed standard gold sources by a factor of 10 or more if a standard strategy - like delving or T16 or whatever - gives you 100k gold/hour existence of strategies that output 1m or more in the same time is.. it just sucks tbh and these 'gold strategies' arent even the hardest or most expensive - it is just a very particular setup that just happens to produce insane gold piles. it just doesnt make sense gold income itself never felt right and it definitely doesnt feel right in 3.26, it seems mostly random, detached from difficulty or effort |

gold income is better than in 3.25 where most league monsters didn't dropped anything, you HAD to kill natural map monsters to get any gold.
If you were a delver or heister you wouldn't be making anything, you couldn't even sustain trading with whatever trickled down your way in there. In heist it was literally like 2000 per hour despite tons of rare monsters in there. id say gold income is too backloaded. Youre making diddly doo for most of ur atlas progression but then in juiced T16 or T16.5 or T17 you make loads out of a sudden. |
