Lags getting worse and worse

Just frustrating.

I've been playing PoE 2 since the first day of the EA launch with no problems for months.
Then around patch 0.2, lag started — mainly during the evening hours for me on the Singapore server.
Ping jumped from 30 ms to over 100 ms. Not fun, but fine — I just avoided playing in the evenings.

Fast forward two months: now I'm getting heavy lag all day long.
I log in at 8 AM and deal with 100–500 ms delay non-stop.
I'm done playing after just one map.

I know they mentioned DDoS attacks and routing issues.
But I'm just wondering how other games manage it, and why it takes forever to implement any real solutions.
Even more concerning: it's only gotten worse since launch — never better.

It's a great game, but this is ruining the experience for me.

Lag isn't caused by a DDoS attack. You would be completely disconnected and unable to log in if it was a DDoS. It's their netcode and server infrastructure or potentially your internet.
