client will not work on mac os

I have tried on steam and steam will not boot at all. on the stand alone client i can get the game to boot in to the log in screen with a work around but as soon as i go to log in the game gives there is an update and will not go further.

GGG hasn't shown any interest in offering a reliably functional macOS client for more than a year. If you really want to play using your Mac, your best bet's probably GeForce Now.
