Why prevent muted players from trading?
I would like to understand how preventing muted players from trading contributes to the game. Could any one clarify this?

" You might be interested in reading the post in which that trade was announced; Account Moderation Changes " What contributes to the game is people not engaging in behaviour which requires moderation. Clamping down on such with more severe punishments is intended to achieve that. e.g. if chat mutes never exceeded 30 seconds & had no trade-related ramifications, every semi-popular global and trade channel would be nothing but kiwi spam. Or - to go with a more recent example - a bunch of Americans arguing among themselves about their own domestic politics and whether Party A is preferable to Party B. The average person doesn't want to see it - but without active moderation, the small minority of loud people would completely take over. I find it difficult to justify optional purchases to support a Tencent-owned development studio that declines to provide customers Technical Support, regardless of how many thousands of euros that customer has spent...

" Because just not being able to "PRAISE" for the next two months wasn't a deterrent for the toucan posters. Exiling them to SSF was the lowest impact way GGG was able to stop their spam. Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful? |
