Ruthless Hiding Items

Why can't I hide items in ruthless on my loot filter it makes no sense. Yes you can say "well its ruthless so you have no reasons to hide items." Okay then just don't hide items on your filter let me hide them on mine easy fix. It just doesn't make any sense at all like I don't care about a white rarity Warhammer when I'm playing my trap thrower.
