4 Month A Season Makes POE2 Dead

only 10K is playing this game
but we have 7 billion people on earth

I can only play 3-5 hours a day, so I don't think the season length is the issue. The problem here is that they can't retain players, or rather, even if they did better, this game isn't really for the masses because its penalties aren't something a casual gamer can normally tolerate.
4 months is healthy, quality > quantity

It looks like GGG lost control over developing and starts looping and living in parallel reality.
Why would anyone who knows their times worth stick around if you have to redo everything every 4 months?

But... That is the game. The fresh start is what people, who like games like this, like about it.

That's like asking why anyone would want to move chess pieces around during chess... O.o

You mean the dudes without a job/life? Yeah, this game is their thing. These seasonal games will die the day they get a job.
Also, the seasonal games are simply lazy. They can't find a balance for a ''long term progression'' game, so they restart your character and make all the time invested a waste so they can say they have something ''new'' for you.
