Failed to join Instance because: Error: Failed to join any instance

Hi GGG support team,

I hope this finds you well.

I am playing through the game on a SSF character. After completing the act 9 boss I speak to Lilly and select to travel to Oriath. The screen then largely fades to black (I can still see character names and the UI). I then get an error that states "Failed to join Instance because: Error: Failed to join any instance".

The Oriath docks waypoint appears, but when I attempt to travel to it I get the same error (Without the fading to black).

I have checked my game integrity twice now. I have also uninstalled the entire game and re-installed it. I have also restarted my PC. I am on a cabled connection with and AMD 3600x and 3080 Ti, 16 GB Ram and the program is installed on an SSD.

I have killed the boss 4 times now in attempts to get past this error.

If you have anything else for me to try, please let me know.

All of those steps that you have taken will not help. This is a server-side error. The instance on the server crashed and no longer exists.

You could try to force a new instance by CTRL+clicking on the area/waypoint. Or you could try logging in to a different server.

There have been a lot of server crashes lately.

login on a different server location ie u play USA log into London....then back to usa, works but the bug will pop up again (for the last few days)
