The Portal Counter on the Portal HUD Doesn't Update with a Checkpoint Respawn

Earlier I wrote a bug report that there was nothing in the game that indicated to the user, while they were in a map, how many attempts they had remaining at the map. Someone pointed out to me that there is a little number on the portal icon on my hud, that indicates how many portals I have remaining.

1) I don't know how long that's been there, but I have no idea how long I wouldn't have noticed it if somebody didn't tell me what it was. But that could just be a me thing 🤷🏼‍♂️.

2) On Xbox, when I die and respawn at a checkpoint, that counter will not update. That counter only updates if I go back to my hideout and then return to my map. (I do primarily use the guild hideout, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.)
