constant freezes and then black screens

ive been having constants freezes, at least 1 per map, the screen freezes then goes to a black screen with loading gears and then after a but it starts to load again, it also reset my mini map progresion as well, this wasnt last league, anyone having this issue?

The next time this happens, could you open your client's log file & give us the last ten or so lines? If you specify which client you're using, I should be able to give you its location.

e.g. if you're using the Steam client, paste this into File Explorer;

%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\common\Path of Exile\logs

I am also having this issue and I have a similar setup to yours. I've noticed that it likes to happen most when I'm in menus and stuff and not so much when it's actually doing anything graphically intense. I was thinking of trying Vulkan, but I haven't yet.

im using the stand alone poe client, not steam, and yeah i switched to vulkan at the time to see if happens again in it.

ive been playing all day with Vulkan instead of directx12 and havent had the black screen issue once, seems whatever's was the issue is that render setting

Thank you for posting the update! I've been having the same problem, just swapped to Vulkan hopefully that fixes it for me too.
