The Trade System
The trade system NEEDS to change GGG! I can't tell you how many times I try to buy an item and the seller just does not respond and then ups the price!!! Then I send the seller another offer to buy said item at his NEW price and the same thing, they dont respond and up the price!! I mean FFS everyone wants 100 divine for EVERY single fking item in the first week of a new league. It did NOT used to be like this in the trade world but NOW it's rampant with this type of crap! Make it where once the price is listed it stays so for a set time period, what ever that may be. Why would this be SO BAD? It would make this dumb broken trade system almost tolerable that way.

Yeah 10 years on this issue and it feels awful.
Tons of people saying "any automated trade will doom PoE" and then automated trade for currency and there is zero downside and no one complaining. Of course they wont admit they are wrong, but you know who are. |

" Sometimes, When I see those people I log on on my standard toons and spam whisper them. Then log on my league toon again, whisper again and as soon as I get the inv I reply "just a min pls", " got it thanks" or whatever |

Mark Roberts has expressed his own frustration in the post-3.26-reveal Q&A about several of these trading issues.
GGG would be experimenting with adding a trading house to PoE for items too, probably first in PoE2 before 1.0, because they can afford to wreck the economy there if it goes wrong. (Also, doesn't skipping the cheapest sellers helps with this ?) Last edited by BlueTemplar85#0647 on Jun 20, 2025, 6:40:48 AM

" That's a BIG NO im not talking about buying 1c items more like 10 div+ plus items. |

" People should get punished for it, honestly. They can't price their items right, you send them a request for 20 divine, one more time and then the seller changes it to 50 divine because all of a sudden he realises that he has no clue about the game and was underselling. Instant buyout is more needed then ever |

Instant trading was proven to work with currency exchange in Settlers.
It can be extended to item trading without any problems. Friction can come with gold costs: Pulling random numbers but maybe 100k gold per divine in price. An item costs 10 div, you need to pay 1 million gold to buy it instantly. |
