Crash on PC only when first starting (works after 3-4 times)

Sometimes when launching the game reaches the "grinding gear" animation and after about 2 seconds it just quits without a visible error. The event log shows the following: (after reattempting a launch the game works after 3-4 tries) Looks like a potential video driver issue (I'm up to date) Using AMD Radeon RX 6600. Thanks :)

I have the same error with my AMD driver (although I use the stand-alone POE2 version) and the workaround for me is to click the LMB as soon as the animation appears so that only the 2 small rotating wheels are shown, and then then game runs without any more issues.
