Files re-verify every time I close the game on Steam.

Not sure where to post this, but every time I close my game for whatever reason, my game has to verify it's files on Steam. This is the 2nd time I've reinstalled the game. Any help / suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't know if this helps, but when I eventually do verify the files and launch the game, my loot filter is unloaded and I need to click it again.
