3.26 Constant Crash seems related to the Mercs and their Audio

Constant disconnects in 3.26
It usually crashes to the login but not the entire client

When looking at the Client.txt logs of me and a friend experiencing the same issue there is a very consistent pattern.

Our mercenaries or the ones in maps will trigger an audio event

A GPU crash happens right after

DirectX12 (Vulcan too) will shut down, restart, then the server disconnects us for an abnormal disconnect.

The sound effects audio in POE is an absolute resource hog. I always turn it off in my config.

NOTE: Setting it to 0 in the in-game menu doesn't affect performance. You have to actually turn it off in your config. You can still hear your loot filter though.
