Mercenaries has to be the worst balanced league in existence
I don't believe GGG did any testing before releasing this travesty. There are skills which cannot and should not be used by enemies. Example: Tempest Shield. What it does is you hit the mercenary with a spell and he one shots you automatically if he happens to be on the same screen as you. Yes, that absolutely happens and unless you can off-screen him - you'll die. He doesn't even have to do anything, you literally kill yourself by hitting him.

I guess you just ignore the merc if you see their class show up.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

Agreed - Many mercenaries seem broken - Hit me harder than a Shaper slam - Great idea but can't wait for patch to fix these guys.

The tempest shield thing I haven't run into, but I also got oneshot by a Slam from one of these mercs. Absolutely 0 play testing went into this - no way this was tested by anyone and they OKd it. I can't believe coders make things and not test it, this is mindboggling. Also, fix servers. |
