How is it possible to increase the ilvl of an existing item?!
 Somebody just bought an item from me, and a few minutes later sold it with a higher item level. You can see that it is cleary the same item, just the item level changed from 84 to 86. Does somebody know how this is possible? I thought ilvl could not be changed anymore. Is it some methode i dont know, or a bug? Last bumped on Jun 17, 2025, 3:45:11 PM

"Recombinator probably. Old type used to have 50% chance to lose the item, we dont know yet if that is still true. And for PoE2 type recombinator Im not familiar with, maybe works better, maybe not. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

Tested it, and yeah apparently the ilvl of the recombined item gets averaged, but it keeps stuff unique to the base like quality. The more you know :D
