I assume there is a bug with mercs using shield skills.

I literally just hired that same merc, after he almost one shotted me, to do the same exact thing, gave him a insane shield and he doesn't do shit for damage vs mobs

A lot of merc abilities are bugged and clearly not scaled for PvP. The fact its been 5 days and hasn't been fixed is crazy. GGG really needs to stop dropping releases and then going AFK if they're not going to play test anything. Whoever was in charge of playtesting mercenaries clearly didn't do their job.

Release was god awful and all they could apparently address before going radio silent again was the console fiasco.
