Storm Brand doesn't trigger EE

As title says, Storm Brand doesn't seem to trigger EE exposure on monsters.

Resistance indicators don't seem to react to brand activation but they to react to my other skill (Blast Rain of Trarthus) and it doesn't feel like their resistances are affected.

After some further testing with Attack skills and totems I must ask: Are some monsters immune to having some of their resistances lowered below a certain point?

Otherwise I can't explain why some seem to be corretly affected by EE and others not.


And if that's the case: EE is a terrible investment for it's price and should never be considered for anything at all. When I'm building around EE, I expect any monster (or boss for that matter) to have at least -200 res after no more than 12 hits.

Not as far as I know, but your "not being able to explain" has two simple causes:

First, there's no difference in the icon between having 25% resistance to an element, and having 75% resistance to it.
Second, exposure does not stack.
