Recomb legacy mods still possible?

Hi everyone,

I've seen a post where someone explained that recombinators now only work with legacy mods when the base with the legacy mod (in his example quant) is chosen. So as far as he told the mods cannot be transfered onto another base anymore.

Do you guys have the same experiance or is it still possible, for example with other legacy mods?
