Map device Storage eats chaos orbs on map receptacles

Just as the title suggests,

When storing chaos orbs in the map device storage it gets eaten by map receptacles. This seems counter intuitive, as this means chaos orbs cannot be stored inside, or will be used very quickly.

I would like to see it being changed to prioritze currency tab, currency for map receptacles. This way I don't have to keep refilling the chaos in the map device storage. Which is the whole point of this mechanic...

The crafting bench has a similar issue, it should not use currency from the map device storage before the stash. It's a weird interaction.

it should be inventory -> stash -> storage.
