Controller on PC - how to change flask bindings / when mouse - controller auto switch?
hi,
titel says it all. i cant rebind my flasks, the D-Pad is not optimal during a fight. and RS is unused.... and like in POE2 it would be beyound awesome to finally get the ability to use the mouse for item and char stuff... is there an eta when we can get it? just started to use the controller, it feels great so far, besides the 2 issues above. another half baked implementation, could have just looked at how marvel heroes did it, where you bind any button or combo to whatever you want, and have mouse functionality at same time.
So tedious to have to logout, change control method constantly just to use stash with a mouse... |

yes these are some obvious complains... the mouse switch they talk about since the launch of poe2... crazy that they still havent done it....
i love to play the games with controller... but with these two issues i guess i will stick to m&k |

my advice from playing a bunch with controller:
make a build that is suited to it. Lots of skills are clunky, and some completely unusable. automate flasks with the instilling orbs as much as you can. just use it for grinding. Have lots of dump tabs available to fill with items, and sort them out later. Roll a lot of maps beforehand to run. Go back to mouse and KB for inventory / crafting. Make a very specific and strict loot filter, you don't really want to be looking at items in the map, just picking everything up, and filling dump tabs. Put your skills where it feels most comfortable on controller, then rebind the keyboard keys so that it feels comfortable to play with mouse. For example my main skills are now on the invisible back bar, because I find the modifier for those more comfortable than the front ones. This is a bit annoying if you need to watch cooldowns, but apart from that it is fine. PLEASE GGG, allow every command on controller be bindable manually, and more combo options, and an ingame switch for controller methods preferably on a keybind, not menu (Elder Scrolls Online does this perfectly, go look at that.) |
