Mercs not leveling feels bad

Them not leveling kills caring about their gear as I level.

New skills and holding 3 will drive desired merc churn. As it is, one to the next unless I would lose a buff...next buff asap is if no loot is my decision matrix.

Seems obvious too, as in my feeling of disappointment was tangible.

It honestly, since Diablo 2, in my mind seems like a simple guaranteed homerun....give me the two box system...make the merc like me.

Better would have been some kind of ...ai charms that change how it played but all of the mechanics of spells and gear...make it easier for yourself and just make them the same as us + ai control system.

For them not to level feels somehow weird for me too...
