Sometimes get "never ending" Trial Complete pop-up messages

For example, I just finished Trial of the Sekhemas and spent some time in my hideout. Every time I exited a UI screen I get many "Trial Complete" and some "The Exit has opened" messages.

I've now started a map and have never ending "Trial Complete" messages.
