POE1 no longer supports Windows 7 / Game cannot run on Win7 system

After the latest patch I've been experiencing sever issues with the game. Game crashes every 10-15 minutes and often freezes my entire PC. During every login I get the message to update my graphic driver and every time I get windows error:

"Procedure entry point kernel32.CreateFile2 not found in library api-ms-win-core-file-l1-2-0.dll"

So i started digging what could that mean and it turns out that the game was compiled in a way that allows it run on win10 and newer.
I guess its official that Win7 is no longer supported. Although I'd like to get the confirmation from GGG team.
