New Controller Item Pickup Is Too Sticky

When I first saw the new controller setting for item pickup, I thought it was amazing. But now that it's implemented, I'm constantly fighting against it—I end up locking onto items instead of attacking. If we just had two separate buttons for pickup or some control over button mapping for controllers, that might help. Or at least give us the option to go back to the original item pickup system until the current one gets fixed—it’s way too sticky right now.

Plzzz this is really hard to play with. I mean, come on—I’ll end up dragging items across the battlefield just because I’m trying to move and attack, and I happen to walk over something. Once the fight is over, or if I want to grab a specific item mid-fight, the system is GREAT. But during combat, with so many items on the ground—even with an item filter—it’s a struggle. I’m the kind of player who likes to check out blues and even some whites, so this really makes things harder.

Something that helped me was not binding my main attack to the pickup button—which for me on a PlayStation controller is X. I moved my main ability to Square instead, and now I can actually use my skills even when I'm surrounded by items.
