Game Downfall?
I really wonder if they literally gave up on poe1 at this point too many issues that started showing up for the past 2 years the game somehow keeps getting worst but the only thing keeping it together are the fan base.
is it ggg logic? that "Oh We will not do anything to fix the servers its just another league start something we have every league start" like really what going on with the game, player base dropped 60k on steam sense last league which i consider a very bad sign too. I wonder if people have same feeling as i do Last bumped on Jun 17, 2025, 3:28:41 AM

This is NOT a normal league start. No league had consistent rollbacks like this one, which are objectively much worse than any crash or lag spike

Me not.
Im happy for each new league start and i dont mind a few crashes. I remember the old days, when you really had server trouble each league start. |

" What is wrong with you calling people "cry babies" when the servers are disconnecting them and rolling back their progress multiple times an hour? You'd have to have brain damage to not complain about this. |

"You still in mid acts so i would assume you dont share the feeling everyone here haves so please dont be toxic you will understand when you reach maps and disconnect and loose everting specially the 10min role backs |

Quite a few of the senior devs left the company. So i guess we are in for a bumpy ride. I couldnt really play today at all. And that is despite the usual terrible EU routing issues that have been there for quite a while now. It really doesnt look all that great.

The game's downfall came about when Chris slowly started retreating.
Sure, he had some controversial ideas for the game, but he loved it. Whoever runs the show now just wants it dead in the ground, and force feed us POE 2; which is still a good game, but full of issues of its own. I think stress and pressure also adds to the chaos. GGG must now maintain, and develop 2 games; and the players only have demands. I would say the blame, ultimately, falls on everyone involved with the game; devs and players alike. P.S This is also a great example of why I think that games should not be meant to be played "forever". They should have a beginning and an end; POE currently is like a dead game that has its corpse paraded around like a puppet on strings. |

You know, there are a few things that really upset me.
1) Every time the league starts, it's the same problems. It's not that hard to predict and make the launch go smoothly just once... 2) Absolutely all POE streamers always play calmly, with almost no crashes, nothing freezes, and the game runs without ping spikes, and everything looks so presentable — as if the other players have the same experience. Bullshit. 3) On Twitter and here on the website, all the news about problems is just about the delayed launch on consoles. Not a word in the last few days about what's going on with the servers. Just don't forget to spend your money on the next support pack, because we tried our best for you. Look, everyone is playing on Twitch, so stop whining and bring your money. And the fact that you have problems with constant resets and disconnects in the main menu — pfff, that's not our problem)))) ![]() |
