GGG stop shadow nerfing merc farming

What is wrong with you? Stop listening to the a-holes, and nerfing everything even remotely satisfying or sustainable.

It's extremely unfair to people who had a late start.

Economy is irrelevant, as this is ultimately a single player game. Saying it's to prevent inflation is a false premise.

Stop treating it like an MMO. Buff solo play, as it is a solo game with an optional co-op.

Some maps allowed for easy merc farming, where the mercs would spawn close to the waypoint. This allowed new players to obtain some non-garbage gear (nothing great, just passable) before going into the maps.

I don't know if GGG nerfed it due to their server topology, and people creating critical mass by everyone going to the same area, or if they're genuinely malicious.

Theory is that the way they nerfed is they stopped spawning mercs on the map entirely, or made them spawn impractically far from the way point, reducing map reset efficiency.

They probably don't want people to have too much fun playing POE1, because then everyone would realize just how bad POE2 really is.

Everyone already knows. And it's not bad, it's relatively not as good. PoE2 is still 2nd best ARPG in existence.

So people are spamming making new instances over and over trying to get the new skill gems and gear to sell? So is this what's causing the servers to crash over and over?

Ya know, they should just do what D II did and if you make to many instances in to short a time you get a 30 min hold on being able to make new instances.

That's the worst thing they could do. Best thing to do is undo the nerfs and leave player-centric stuff alone for the duration of the league.

How is that the worst thing? Basically from what you are saying more or less they are being doxed with massive instance creations. So explain, unless you were one of the guys doing this how it would be bad and how undoing the nerf somehow would make this all go away?
