Bug Report: Dying to Boss and Enemy Attacks Outside Visible Range / Possible Hitbox or Desync Issue

I’ve noticed a recurring issue with hit detection and deaths while playing Path of Exile 2. Sometimes, I am killed by boss or enemy attacks even when I am visually far outside their attack range or area of effect. Here are some concrete examples:

Situations:

During big boss fights, if a boss does a frontal attack or uses a skill with a clear visual path, I can be standing around 10 meters (in-game) away from the path - and still get killed.

Some creatures with huge logs on their shoulders (sorry, don’t know their name) swing and their animation lands 5 meters away from my character, but I’m still killed as if hit directly.

Witches that throw circles on the ground and those large caster ladies who cast similar deadly circles - I am well outside the marked area when it lands, but I die anyway.

Additional Observations:

Occasionally, my game “stutters” for 100-200ms, as if something is being calculated, and right after that, my character dies - often in situations like those above.

These deaths do not seem to match what I see on-screen (positioning, timing, AoE visuals), which makes it feel like either the hitboxes are much bigger than they look, or there is a significant desync/server lag issue.

This is extremely frustrating in challenging fights and feels unfair, since positioning should matter.

Attacks and AoE effects should only deal damage if my character is inside the visual area of the attack, or if there is a clear reason for getting hit.
