Vendor search box

So I want to search gem I want and close vender after, and open it again to have the search still there kinda annoying, deleting it every time I open and looking for the gem I know what it look like and where without the search so pls reverse the search box or atleast let me delete the prvious search and leave it empty TY

Have you tried using Ctrl+A then Ctrl+X as a quick way to do it ?
