Please Make Mercs Able to Re-Enter Instances
My initial plan for 3.26 was to send it down mid and play a pure support for my mercenary hoping they would be good and wouldn't just fall over.
Imagine my surprise and hype when ZiggyD released a video on them this morning, everything about them seemed perfect. They looked strong, survivable, there was even good QoL. Then it got to about half way through and one sentence entirely killed all my excitement. "Mercenaries cannot come back to that zone instance, even if revived." this heavily penalises any pure support build focusing on mercs. And it was already probably not that strong because I can't imagine they will scale to super endgame stuff, but at least it sounded fun. Essentially this means that I'd be playing semi-hardcore with one portal per instance or expensive boss fight, but not only that, I don't even have control over the "HC" aspect, and instead I have to rely on a AI that is prone to stand in degens and eat slams. Please, change it so that we can portal out and resummon our mercenary and go back into a zone. That seems totally balanced and was how I assumed it would work, merc dies? We lose a portal, the same penalty for you as a player dying. I was feeling so excited to try this type of build/playstyle out, and now I'm being heavily pushed into playing a strong normal build because if my merc dies I would be entirely useless.
