Triggerbots and Vortex of Projection bug

I'm a long-time fan and passionate player of Path of Exile. Thank you so much for continuously developing and improving such a fantastic game!



I'm writing to report a potential issue involving the Saboteur ascendancy's Triggerbots and the recently buffed skill, Vortex of Projection.

After the recent buff, I was experimenting with Vortex of Projection, especially in combination with Frostbolt. As intended, the skill can cause up to 5 explosions per cast.



However, I've noticed a problem when triggering Vortex of Projection using Spellslinger, Cast on Critical Strike Support, or Cast while Channelling Support while utilizing Triggerbots. The explosions do not occur as expected.

When Frostbolt is linked with Greater Volley Support, both Triggerbots activate the skill, resulting in 10 Frostbolts being created.

Accordingly, Vortex of Projection should also be triggered by both bots, causing 5 explosions each - 10 in total.

But what happens is that only one of the two Triggerbots causes Vortex of Projection to explode 5 times as expected. The other Triggerbot only causes a single explosion, and then the chain reaction stops.

As a result, out of the 10 Frostbolts, only 6 explode, and 4 remain without triggering the effect.

I'm not sure whether this is intended behavior, a technical issue, or a bug. It's a bit disappointing, as this makes using Triggerbots with this skill feel inefficient despite its potential.

If this is a bug, I would be grateful if your team could investigate and fix it.

Additionally, while I haven't tested it myself, I'd also appreciate it if you could check whether other skills with similar mechanics - like Ice Nova of Frostbolts - may be affected in the same way when used with Triggerbots.

It may look like 6 explosions, but you are actually creating 10 explosions. More than 1 explosion can happen from 1 Frostbolt.

Your 1st Vortex explodes from Frostbolts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Your 2nd Vortex explodes from Frostbolts 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Frostbolts 7, 8, 9 and 10 are not exploded from, and are not destroyed.

This can be observed by, for example, counting the number of hits against an enemy by using Poison and 'The Golden Rule' unique jewel. The first half of this video demonstrates that. (The second half of this video is about a bug with Returning Projectiles.)
