[SUGGESTION] Crossbow Adjustment

I wanted to put it out there that the current gear cycle for a Crossbow user feels bad. Since there aren't any meaningful ways of adjusting the different mechanics beside using up support slots or being required to run a single weapon base, makes it so gear upgrades are a lot harder to come by.

My suggestion is to shift some power away from the core Crossbow and make off-hand "Clip" items that have inherent passives that adjust the interaction with the clip/reload/grenade systems. Similar to Quivers for Bows.

This would ease the rate of gearing up as a theoretical build wouldn't necessarily require a Crossbow to role both beneficial damage and beneficial mechanics.

At the same time passive effects that are normally locked behind a keystone passive or support gem could be on one of the bases for these "Clip" items.

Examples:

Chance to not consume ammunition

Additional Ammunition Loaded

Additional Grenades Fired

~It would also be interesting but not part of the suggestion to see someway to adjust "Recently" duration.~

Bro... It is sad but no-one wants to play with crossbow anymore... 3/3 failure of balancing classes and weapons made them abandon them.
I like the idea. I also wouldn't mind a passive node like the ones Warriors have that allow you to one-hand a crossbow (at a cost). All in all, the merc section of the tree could use some work

Crossbows are still more fun to play than a lot of other classes. I also hope they will give more attention to the build diversity within the class itself as its something of a one-trick pony (galvanic shards) right now
