PoE 1 PC servers are restarting now. They should be back up in approximately .

Socket filter doesn't respect maximum links (trade)

For example when I set max links: 2, it shows items with any number of links (4 links, 3 links, etc).

This will matter for Runegraft of the Jeweller users.

I'd also like to bring attention to my archived suggestion that hasn't been addressed

That will be a good addition in light of the upcoming spell DoT buffs.

More specifically, I think this is what's going on:

Expectation: Filter will only return items that have no sockets with more than two links.

Implementation: Filter returns any items that contain sockets which meet this criteria.

If I'm right, this would never return a six-linked item because it wouldn't find sockets that satisfy the criteria. But where the intuitive understanding of "Max" would lead us to believe that items with sockets that have more than two-links would be rejected, that isn't the current functionality.
Today… by divine decree… your patch of Excel, begins.

You're right, any item with 1L or 2L meets it (so no 6Ls). And this is actually intended:

each linked socket group on an item is matchable in the "Links" filter

nvm. I am blind, it is a 3+2L aka 5L scam item,
