Debate/Feeback about (periodic ground explosions)

[My experience/Personal opinion]

I have played this game for around 1,5k hours i like it for the most part, but finally when i start to enjoy mapping and getting in a good flow state some random rare mob shoots out like 35 ground explosions where i have to wait 5 to 7 seconds each time, its a small thing but makes the mapping experience feel very tedious.

I have beaten almost every fromsoftware game lies of p etc im a big fan of soulslikes. I like challenge, but this dosen't feel like an exciting challenge. It seems like slowing the player down for the sake of slowing him down and adding some more danger to the map just for the sake of adding more danger, without any exciting gameplay. without any thoughts about how it actually plays.

You sit and wait for 5 seconds to pickup your loot or to reach the rare mobs

When you do 1000+ maps and it happens once or twice each map it starts to get very annoying espcially with 100% increased rare mobs so it happens more often, (im not sure but some seem to not disappear when you kill the monster)

In my subjective opinion, i dont like it it feels like artificial difficulty just to slow they player down in the sake of slowing him down. I think theres plenty of other mob modifiers that creates a sense of danger, i think they should completely remove the periodic elemental ground explosions from the game.

Im gonna try to list some pros and cons even tho my opinion is very one sided

Pros
Makes endgame maps more dangerous.
Makes players more cautios and slows down blasters.
Makes super juiced maps harder
Maps take longer time to complete depending on how many ground explosions and rare mobs
Makes longrange builds better
More options for beasts with peridioc ground explosions to be used in builds

Cons
Picking up ground loot and dying to the explosions
Getting stuck in mobs and dying to peridioc explosions (corruption monsters in maps for example)
Makes maps more tedious annoying and slower therefor less gain per hour.
Makes melee combat atrocious

I want this to be a positive and useful thread for the devs, with honest personal beliefs stated. Why should they stay, why should they not?
