Bug Report ID: #3104168417, Infernal Skull helmet suddenly turned green

I’ve run into a strange visual bug with the Infernal Skull helmet skin in Path of Exile: after playing most of Settlers league without problems, the effect suddenly turned neon green. I’ve already clean-reinstalled the game and GPU drivers and tested DirectX 11/12 and Vulkan, but nothing changes.

That almost looks like the client struggling to load the proper asset...
Try "1. Verify your client's content" and "2. Clear your client's cache" in "Troubleshooting your Path of Exile client" from the General Troubleshooting Guide sticky thread. Today… by divine decree… your patch of Excel, begins.

I've already tried that, I've tried a complete game reinstall, clean driver install and cleared all old %appdata% files, nothing helped.
