No citadel

I'm lost.
Since patch 0.2.1, we were supposed to find more citadels, but I've been running away for 48 hours and no citadel in sight.
Yet a friend has found about ten since the patch.
Is this a bug?

I don't know how many maps Ive ran, probably 200. I still haven't found a citadel. Ive found corrupted areas, have gotten my atlas points, went to the burning monolith to get the quest, but I still can't find any citadels. It has to be a bug.

Somehow they must have reversed it from what it was before 0.2.1 because i didn't get any citadels before this patch (except 4 that spawned close to the start in the first week of the league) and now i get them pretty much everywhere. They spawn in pairs of 3 and the next 3 are not far behind them.

Some people seem to be lucky and have many more citadels, but that's not the case for everyone.
Since the patch, I can't find any more. Bug? Why only a few people?

u need to move far from where your atlas fog ended before the patch. you need to find 1 citadel in the fog then just go to it, 2 more will appear.

move in a straight line, thats all I can tell you.

The only problem with patch is they nerfed the fog and zoom

I know I have to move away. I've been going in a straight line all along and it's not working. :(

After the patch citadels just appeared for me all around the atlas where there were none before. No exploration required.

Thank you for posting this. I encountered the same issue. Level 95 and had been clearing end game content. Still did not encounter any citadel. The only way for me to access arbital of ash is to buy the fragments.

Used to see citadel in 0.1.
