Trial of Chaos Chimera Boss door

Trial Level 78 killed, first Boss, Chimera and the door to the next part does not open. Cannot use Town Portal or run to previous rooms as the lifts no longer work. Perhaps the boss died too fast? Sunder pretty much 1 shot it.
