Curse Maps are fine if there was actual mobility or cleansing

The curse fields are massive and they come fast but you're stuck with a dodge roll, maybe an escape skill...

What are fast mobility options?
Blink costs 60 spirit and for removing your dodge roll this is too steep a penalty.
Escape+Travel skills aren't fast and even if you did focus on making them as fast as possible the build versatility is getting stretched super thin.

I don't think its difficult to make something like an "ancestrally boosted travel" support gem that quickly accelerates your travel skills every 6 seconds or something + additionally making something similar to Blink and buffing Blinks resource cost because its ridiculous...There's not even a Blink unique boot which is sad because how bad is it that not only is it 60 spirit but it takes 1 skill slot.

Ultimately I don't think you can label a game as having good gameplay if you do get slowed for 40% for 20 seconds and there's zero decent cleanse options.
('Time of Need' requires Strength and isn't an active cleanse, pretty damn bad + takes a skill slot...where's the skill in an inactive skill??).

Time of Need
TLDR: It's silly mechanic that we will overcome, but spend 2x more time clearing.

I never understood any game in the past, since 95-96 MUDs, that made me do something easy...slower. In age of Twitter, we want to get shit done quick and artificial ways of slowing us down, is annoying, at best, downright lack of creativity at worst.

We will die, A LOT, trying to speedrun these 400% crit rate maps, we give you our word! We will die, A LOT, from random stuff we could of avoided, if we were not so eager to speedrun. Don't make maps slowrun, we die less, we complete it in twice the time and we will probably never die doing it, because it's slow and "safe mode" if you ask me.
Playing poe1 at the moment and quickly realised how much more fun it is to have more agency over movement.

I run about the same/slower than my poe2 character but being able to actively use vaal haste, quicksilver flask, flame dash when I feel it's beneficial is way more engaging and fun than poe2 rp running.

The quickest route is no longer holding W, its some combo of abilities that let's me express some level of 'skill'

Same skills would make temporal chains map less vendor-trash tier
