Rats Cage Fire Immune Rogue Exile and Bug Charms

I am certain that Rats Cage is making this Rogue Exile immune to fire damage instead of converting the dmg to physical. Can't damage and can't ignite (also have Blackflame so I should be doing Chaos Dmg? No idea). RIP drops.



Also, I have no clue why there is no charm charges on my Golden Charm. Its suppose to be 0/1 at least buts its stuck at 0/0. Using the well doesn't fix it nor restarting client. I'm thinking it has to do with the Ritualist Extra Charm Passive (I have an Ingenuity with 2 charm slot). Taking off belt does seem to make all the charms show their correct usage (0/1 Thaw Charm, 0/1 Golden Charm, 0/2 Stone Charm). Of course without the belt, the charms can't be used.

Immune to ignites from fire damage to be precise. Rat Cage causes the wearer to take 100% fire damage from hits as physical damage. Ignite however is based on fire damage dealt by the inflicting hit (actual or "phantom" like from Incinerate) at the pre-mitigation stage. Currently, the ignite tooltip lacks a pop-up for pre-mitigation damage, but here's the description:

Your Pre-mitigation Damage is the damage of your hits after all your modifiers to damage have been applied, but before the target's mitigation, such as Armour, Resistances or Blocking, prevents any of that damage.

The target's modifiers to Damage taken apply after their mitigation, so Pre-mitigation Damage also does not include the effects of those modifiers. However, modifiers that cause the target to take damage as a different Type occur before mitigating the damage, so are included in Pre-mitigation Damage.

The hit in this case deals purely physical damage and hence no ignite.

Your belt increases charm charge usage, a charm can't consume more charges than its maximum.

This one was on me. I thought that Incinerate had a channeling dmg but after reading the tooltip, it just ignites things in front of it. Now it makes sense why it does no dmg against Rats Cage.
