0.2.1 Issues

Just no-lifed for like 18 hours.

Ritual and Omens - I primarily ran Ritual maps to check out the 6x chance to receive "rare omens" as mentioned in the patch notes. I'm not sure which omens are considered rare, because my rewards windows looked no different than they did before the patch, and their exchange values haven't moved. Compare this to the prices on Kalandra's Touch and Astramentis after the unique drop buff. Crafting is still totally out of reach for the great majority of players.

Expedition - Totally gutted. I'm not sure what the point of it is now that Lush Isle is nerfed. For anyone who hasn't checked yet, the special currency chests on Lush Isle now consistently drop 2-3 regals after getting chest rarity up to 160% or higher. They don't even spam augs and transmutes anymore. I found two of the new runes in my Ritual maps, none in the Atoll rework. (No one in their right mind is going Atoll to get gold or farm strongboxes). The guaranteed rare item drop here seems... out of touch completely.

I'm playing the build (https://poe2.ninja/profile/YNRY-3842/character/gaaargamel) but the number of people saying their character is totally dead because of the Choir of the Storm... bug fix? nerf? oopsie?--is concerning. Why didn't the patch notes say anything about this? They didn't say the Lush Isle chests were being bricked. They don't specifically say which omens are "the rare omens".

Anyone else having a similar experience?

No and no. I've gotten multiple omens of greater annulment, 3 or 4 whittling. A bunch of corruption... i do have all my ritual passives though.

I also got multiple of the hunt, of reenforcement, and of secret compartments omens.

Expedition chests dropped 3 exalts or higher every time I opened them. So I'm not sure what the issue you're having is.

Haven't done atoll but got a bunch of the high end runes just mapping.

First try at temple of chaos also dropped a new soul core and an azmeri whisp dropped a new talisman.

What are you doing to setup for Ritual maps, if anything? Any idea how many you've run?

What are you doing to setup for Ritual maps, if anything? Any idea how many you've run?

Passives: Spreading darkness, Ominous Portents, He Approches, Tempting Offers

Tablets on 2-4 tower setups: Grand project for the +1, Ritual Favors have x% to be omens + Quant/rarity, then breach quant/rarity, and expedition quant/rarity

Pretty sure this has no effect but my on kill rarity is 60% and my map rarity has been anywhere between 50-120%

I couldn't tell you how many. It's been all the ones I ran today and yesterday. So probably 80-120? I've been farming KoTM and Xesht as well. KoTM is definitely dropping more rare omens too.

I heard KOTM was dropping more but I haven't fought him since the patch. Guess it's just my luck. I cleared out three 3-tower zones, one with the unique ritual tablet which spilled over into a 2-tower. Average ~200% chance to be omens on the in-map affixes list, like 140% for maps touching the tower with the unique. Plenty of audiences and one greater annul. Sad!
