Chance Orb question...

for this helm, the base item has drop level of 27, but the poe2db says something about ilvl 64. Does anyone know if rolling a chance orb on a ilvl 27 spired greathelm is able to turn into thrillsteel? Or do I need a ilvl 64 base? Or is this ilvl on poe2db just a meaningless thing in the data?

That Level 27 is not the item level - it is the minimum character level to equip the item. Hit Alt to see the item level.

Edit: you should be able to chance it.

I understand that ya.. additionally, the minimum level required for the base to drop is 27. IME it's been easier to get that base from a level 27 area cause of the reduced drop pool (idk if this is true but i've been finding them frequently).

Thanks I figured as much, but was just thrown off by the "ilvl" being 64 in poe2db. It also says that the armour is "123" when the armour on mine and the photo is "116".
