Infinite Loading Screen Upon Selecting Any Character
So, to preface this, I am on PC. I have 6 characters, and my furthest is lvl 90. For the last couple of days since the drop of Patch 0.2.1 I haven't been able to actually load any characters. I have Verified my Files via steam multiple times, deleted the files in My Games, deleted the files in my Steam folder and done Fresh Installs multiple times, tweaked my Settings to High Hell, gone from Borderless Window to Fullscreen. Restarting my PC, Shutting it down for multiple hours, giving it a Cleaning just in case (even though I had just done so about a week prior), I have seen countless other fixes like Fresh Installing the Windows Version, to a Fresh Install or Reverting back on Graphics Card - tried all of them, to no avail.
Hell, I even grabbed my Controller and attempted the supposed "New Character load them in with them," and guess what? Infinite Loadscreen when making a New Character too, so I couldn't even TRY that. I have characters in Act I, Act II, and Three in my Hideout after Act III Cruel, none of them are allowing me to load at all. At this point, I've given up. I have waited multiple hours between attempts, tried different Servers, spammed login attempts, and just gotten absolutely sick of it. My assumption is this is from the Update and something is broken, but by God am I absolutely done at this point. If steps to understand how this is happening helps, it's simply: Start the Game Wait for Loading Screen Hit the Big Red Button Double Click Character to Instantly Load Character (OR) Click Character Click the OTHER Big Red Button. No further steps than that. PS: If I get a response or someone with an actual fix that is consistent, I will update the post to help anyone else. Edit: As I said, I am updating as the issue has been fixed - though not resolved. Nothing truly "fixed," it, as it just went away. Resetting my router did nothing, nor did turning off any of my other services like VPN and such. Changing settings ingame and more did nothing as well. Deleting random chunks of the game, verifying files after and even doing full fresh installs all did absolutely nothing. I did this twice more today alone all to the same effect. I restarted my PC, did another redownload of my Graphic Card's Drivers, all to no avail. I said hell with it, downloaded an old game to start playing that. Sat back down, booted up the game, and suddenly, it's working JUST FINE. Literally nothing else has been changed since my last attempt, it was a blank, "Start up game, loaded in like nothing has been wrong for the last 2 days". If you are having this very same issue, I'm sorry. There is literally NOTHING to learn from my case other than, "I got better..." like a damn Monty Python skit. Just keep doing shit till it works. If you use a VPN or Exitlag or other service, fiddle with them, verify your integrity of your files, do a full fresh install after deleting the whole thing (the files in "My Games" as well, though you will have to redo your settings), check your Windows Version and your Graphics Card... honestly, do anything you can think of, or god forbid, download Borderlands 2 and think you'll give up on the game, cuz that somehow is what worked for me. I don't know how long this fix will last for me, but I will say if it shows up again, I think I'm just fine after the literal lack of everything. When I've had this happen, the only fix is going into couch co-op mode. Where your stuck characters are player 2 & you create a new character as player 1. It then Teleports your stuck character to riverbank

Issue is, as I had said in the post, I couldn't even attempt that because even making a New Character does not work. It's also ALL my characters. Appreciate your comment, but that's already something I had attempted. Unless I decide to move across country to login on someone else's PC to unstick my entire account, there's currently nothing I can do. The entire game itself is unplayable for me currently.
