Issue Description – Path of Exile 2 (Stuttering, Shader Freezes, Character Teleporting)

🖥️ PC Specs (High-End System):
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080

RAM: 32 GB DDR5

Storage: NVMe SSD (read speed: 7900 MB/s)

OS: Windows 11 Pro (fully updated)

Internet: 1000 Mbit/s fiber, in-game ping: 24 ms

IMPORTANT: The game ran flawlessly on my previous setup:

CPU: Intel Core i5-14600KF

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX

After upgrading to a significantly more powerful system, I started experiencing major performance issues.

❗Symptoms:
Constant micro-stuttering every few seconds.

The white shader loading bar at the bottom of the screen frequently jumps or spikes.

During each spike:

The game freezes momentarily (frame hang),

Dialogue audio cuts off or delays,

My character teleports forward when the game unfreezes.

Happens in both combat zones and towns.

Even on lowest possible graphics settings, the issue persists.

✅ Troubleshooting Steps Taken (no improvement):
🎮 In-Game Settings:
All graphics settings reduced to lowest/minimum.

Tested all renderers individually: Vulkan, DirectX 11, and DirectX 12.

Disabled DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and Frame Generation.

Set FPS limit to 60 and 72 in separate tests.

🧹 System & Drivers:
Performed a clean installation of latest NVIDIA drivers (after running Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in Safe Mode to remove all AMD traces).

Cleared shader cache via NVIDIA Control Panel and manually:

C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\DXCache

C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\GLCache

Windows fully updated.

Windows power plan and NVIDIA settings set to "Prefer Maximum Performance".

Game launched as Administrator.

📈 Other AAA games tested (Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur’s Gate 3, Doom Eternal) run absolutely smoothly with no stutter or shader-related issues.
💬 Conclusion:
The issue appears to be related to:

Shader loading/preloading inefficiencies within Path of Exile 2,

Potential conflict after switching from AMD GPU to NVIDIA GPU,

Or lack of proper optimization for RTX 50-series cards and/or X3D Ryzen CPUs in this early version of PoE2.

🙏 Request for Support:
I'd greatly appreciate:

Confirmation whether this issue is known and being worked on,

Advice on forcing shader precompilation or manually rebuilding shader cache for PoE2,

Any developer-side options or workarounds available to mitigate this issue in the short term.
