Map Device is deleting maps

On patch 0.2.1 the map device is acting up when starting a map. Sometimes the portal shows up and sometimes it does not even though the sound effect plays. There is nothing to interact with. I have tried closing out and restarting and that has worked half the time by either it showing the portal or the waystone is still in the node and needs to be interacted with again. The other half of the time the waystone is gone and no portal.

For some additional information I am playing on Series X. It is now taking the map every time the game disconnects.
