Questions on Settlers ending.

I am amazed that Important things always seem to get left out of official releases of Information. Not just GGG but a lot of places elsewhere as well. What I mean is In their press release about Settlers ending they left out many parts of what I consider relevant Important Information that a lot of us players need moving forward. They said nothing about what is going to happen to our characters that are currently In settlers not to mention our Inventory or stash tabs. Are we to assume that they will be retained by the players or will they just go poof as they are doing with runes, workers and ships? It frustrates me when releases of Important Information gets left out by writers who do not play the game and think they are explaining things thoroughly when In fact it only reveals their lack of knowledge. If anyone else knows what to expect I would appreciate your helpful comments to this post, thanks. :)

Settlers chars would have the same treatment as for all the other leagues so everything will be transfered to standard including all stash tabs equipment on your characters and inventory of every character. As for the workers they mentioned it (most likely in the patch notes if i remember it correctly) that they will all be deleted . So we won't need to rebuild the town but rehire all the worked which is ok i guess.
