Kingsmarch issues and suggestion

Kingsmarch is going core with some changes (no need to upgrade, longer shipping times). We don't have all the details, but it seems like not much is changed. I think this is a missed opportunity. There are a lot of small changes that could be made to further streamline the system.

- Increase the minimum shipment level so that minimum level = minimum reward. This removes the degenerate "2 verisium bars"-strategies (although the longer travel times already make these strategies less profitable).

- Remove smelting. Bars and ores are functionally identical. You can just adjust mining rates and ore values so that you end up with identical shipping values/gold&time.

- Do we really need to recruit farmers/miners and other permanent workers? Is there some strategy involved or is this just meant to be a temporary gold-sink?

- Do we need many different crops? The crops only have slight biases towards certain currencies and the optimal farming strategies were already worked out to be rather trivial. Why not instead just have "crops" as the resource?

I would also streamline the way crops get converted to currency so that it would be more linear, but it's a preference thing.

Well, there is still the timedelay and gold cost. Also you have some control over what sort of items you get for the ores.

For crops, the time delay in pretty important, since it caps how fast the mechanic can give you rewards. If you could convert gold -> currency instantly, the rewards would have to be scaled down a lot. There are farming strats that give a ton of gold quickly and the rewards would have be be balanced around them.
If the new max tier 5 workers are like settlers tier 5 workers, pretty much everything is changed about kingsmarch
Remember when GGG wouldn’t support races because it encouraged unhealthy degenerate behavior?
Settlers degenerate level is exponentially worse due to being 3+ months not 3 days.

It won't encourage degenerate behaviour if the reward isn't there so they could have already handled it - personally i'd have cut crops anyway the rest of their stuff looks OK

It'll get used early for the juice gear/links for free then respecced for better stuff after the first few days IMO
People already forget the best strat for Settelers was to send 2 verisium bars with each ship? You had to constantly log in to the he game to resend ships/restock mappers.
Forcing players to log in when they dont want to is prfect recipe to make them stop playing much faster.

I just hope ports and mappers wont bring as much currency as it did in leauge. If not just farm for a day or two and few miror shards will come in...
