Archmage Hierophant Skills in 3.26? Icenova of frostbolt RIP

Anyone skilled/experienced can tell if it is still good?

I have seen icenove of frostbolts getting murdered, which other skills would you use on archmage?

Archmage itself got a substantial nerf like -20-25% total dps, and minus 50% mana cost reduction.

I don't think the ascendancy nerf was that bad however the nerfs to ice nova are pretty large at least in terms of aoe clear. Damage wise it's going to feel worse but still better than most things. Didn't seem like the nerf was aimed at totally killing the build just weakening it.

I'll league start it.

Hit based DD Necro, all Hieros and their Frostbolt/Nova is pretty much dead. Gear should be cheaper and the 3 percent damage nerf on Archmage isn't significant to make a difference, DD got also damage increase. So there should be no difference at all.

I have checked downgrade on archmage is more or less compensated by arcane surge and spell echo buffs.

Mana cost increase 100% for hierophant is not looking great, and 1% mana regen per second is meh. But still might be manageable.

The question is icenova of frostbolts looking dead, which other skills are decent on hierophant archmage?
