Glacial Bolt does not hit small enemies (OR) animals... please fix sooner than later

This is ULTRA annoying as when I come across smaller enemies or animals?! I do ZERO damage.. but if they are not small or animal its big dam always.. melting every boss.. but then suddenly with certain type of monsters I just PUSH them away from the walls rather than hitting them with it.. :(
