I just cant see us getting another 3 chapters in the campaign as a good thing
Alot of us has done the same 3 chapters more times than we would want and yet how many of us really enjoyed the 30 hours it took to do them? and yet we dont even have most of the game meaning this shits going to get worse not better,
Sure they could scrap them but i highly doubt they will an seeing they need to still rework the whole end game system but plan to release within a year my god there is no way we get something fun out of this Last bumped on Jun 3, 2025, 2:10:29 AM

If in the final game no act is longer than act 1 and they can considerably mitigate what many players perceived as "slog" then it will be tolerable to do once every 4 months.
I've played through the campaign 3 times in this league. The first time was awful. Second and third time were way less grating thx to unique gear and currency. But what i found most problematic about it is that it'S essentially a WASTE OF MY TIME. During campaign we don't accumulate currency that will help us later in endgame. None of the gear we will keep. And skills that work well in campaign often fall down a cliff and have to be replaced aswell with something that does big aoe damage. So, what is the point!? Plz give us the option to skip campaign with our alts. |

I'm the opposite. I would rather have all 6 acts in campaign and have them replayed another two difficulty levels like in DiabloII. And everything you would acquire in endgame, would be spread out in the other two difficulty levels that would have extra bosses put in =)
Take out endgame. Its just a mindless, storyless, leveling up obstacle course imo. |

" I agree with this, tbh. I think what bothers me is that builds that work well in end-game don't work well in the campaign, and vice versa, builds that work well in the campaign don't work well in end-game. Thus, you always end up playing a character you don't want to play for 30 hours, before you get to actually play the character you want. Moreover, I find the campaign harder than the end-game. Is that weird? I would have thought the opposite. It's because we have so much control over end-game difficulty. You can skip a boss, or use a lower tier waystone, or go another way. Not so in the campaign. If you can't pass Jamanra, then you're bricked. Personally, I think the campaign would have been a lot more fun if it was an open-ended progression, something like an infinite ledge, or a mini-atlas. That way, the campaign actually trains you for the end-game. |

For me personally if I could start a character on Cruel difficulty and struggle more but have loot relative to the beginning portion of End Game I'd be happy.
The only thing I really don't like isn't the campaign itself but the constant changing of really low level stats and modifiers. I also despise items like prismatic and Unset rings not being attainable until lvl 40+. |
