Trial of chaos issue

I got stuck (unable to move) in Trial of Chaos when my groupmate took the platform down into the next area, I missed it and got hit by the binding circle thingymajig. I foolishly tried to walk backwards towards teh entrence where I could see a switch, thinking that would bring up the platform again, but instead got stuck in place unable to move anywhere.

Couldn't get out of being stuck no matter how much I tried and Warp to Player did nothing. So I quit the game and tried to log in again, which repeatedly fails. I keep getting just the loading screen that never goes away, over and over again. One time I could hear my groupmate progress the trial, I could hear the fighting sounds including the low helath warning for myself, but all I could see was the trial of chaos loading page. It's now been 20 minutes of this and I'm still unable to actually get into the game.

I have had this happen to me as well, it is indeed frustrating.



If you get stuck in an infinite loading screen (which has happened to me), below is a workaround to be able to play the game:



"I have solved the problem with a workaround. I plugged in a second controller, logged in as a "Guest" account and created a new character. So one controller was set as my main character, and the other as creating a new character. After creating a character quickly, my main character was automatically brought to the beginning of the game. I did have to go through the first area on my main character, but at least this works as a temporary fix."
