Alternate Ascendancies in the future...

Obviously some of them were a bit too "choose a fighter" than "make a build," like the Herald-focused class and things like Vaal skills, but some of them were pretty damn good.

Classes like Scavenger, Surfcaster and a couple of others were just really good ideas that I can see co-existing with the current line-up.

Personally, I would like to see the class-specific aspects of Phrecia make a return in some form. Idols were alright but quite rocky to get started. If you were given far less idols but they stacked with your Atlas tree, allowing you to really juice a single mechanic, that would be cool.

Overall though, Phrecia was an awesome concept and I'm glad that we got it versus nothing at all. I just hope that wasn't the last we see of that kind of new content.

Hell, even if they just kept Scavenger to give Scion some love, I'd gladly take that.

Idols: Too harshly gated to be a core mechanic. Too much of a distance between the "haves" and "have nots". Probably one of the largest progression/reward gap we've had - ever.

What they could do, is to make the atlas tree socketable, like the passive tree, and introduce atlas jewels. Make them fairly powerful, but don't add too many sockets. Would be cool if they made some of them "are affecting/alternating" jewels.

When it comes to the Phrecia Anscendancies, I would be OK with them adding them as Flame/Flesh jewels.

Yeah, I've thought sockets would make a great addition to the Atlas tree.

You're probably right about the FF/F jewels for the new stuff, if it ever came back.

Hell nah, Scavenger is pure power creep, adding that to Scion would make her the only pick, hands down. Instead of adding new OP ones, how about actually fixing the existing ones?

Trickster’s the go-to for most builds right now,unless you're just playing for memes, picking anything else is usually a downgrade. Meanwhile, other classes are stuck in limbo, lacking the identity to even compete. It’s not about adding more power, it’s about making the core classes more viable again.

Phrecia Anscendancies as Flame/Flesh jewels wouldn’t really change playstyle, it’d just add a bit of extra power. But with only a single node, it wouldn't capture the full feel of playing the classes. Plus, it would clutter the loot pool, raising prices on both high-demand and low-demand mods, making it harder to complete useful sets and less fun to farm.

Looking at the market, it's already tough with certain sets only having 2 or 3 listed. Doubling the mods would make it worse.

Maybe it would help if they allowed these jewels to drop from all pinnacle boss fights, not just Exarch and Eater. That would spread out the loot pool, make the less interesting fights more rewarding, and add more of the jewels into the market along the way.

I would be really disappointed if nothing from the Phrecia ascendancies is added in 3.26...

many of those ascendancies were balance around a heavy drawback on a previous keystone, Being able to skip those drawbacks will turn them into a balance hell.


GGG would be wise to slowly add them as full ascendancies with some changes to prevent broken sinergies.


for instance instead of behemoth having "your spells are disabled" on the first keystone followed by very strong keystones it could get the "your spells are disabled" removed and then each keystone will have its own penalty say:

Steel Willed:
2% increased Attack Damage per 450 Armour.
10% chance to Defend with double your Armour for each time you've been Hit by an Enemy Recently, up to 30%.
50% increased mana reservation of skills as a penalty.
